I used 2 coats of a medium-high quality paint on them and no primer and they look stunning.

I was originally going to paint this old laminate cabinet white, get some new hardware and call it done.Then I asked Chris if he would mind maybe, possibly, cutting me a piece of barnwood to go in the back of the shelf, just to make it extra pretty.He suggested he just build me a whole new one out of barnwood.
It didn’t hurt that I asked for help on a weekend night when Kennedy was away on a sleepover.If she’s sleeping at a friend’s house, Chris will do just about any DIY project for me for some reason.

It’s a shaky way of living for now.All those little insignificant tidbits of day-to-day living build up to mean a whole lot when there’s no more same ‘ol way of doing things to fall back on.
